Saturday 10 August: Derby Doings

The day started with a Saturday Market. We chatted to the stall-holders in our usual manner while being entertained by The Rusty Nails.

Derby reminded us of a number of Victorian country towns in that its economy is just hanging on, with quite a number of empty shops.

But Derby is about tides and sunsets. Derby tides are the second biggest in the world.

Another travelling day tomorrow, leaving the coast, as we enjoy our time with Ian and Elizabeth.
