We had to negotiate a number of floodways after the heavy rains of yesterday. Needless to say we tried not to make a splash, unlike quite a number of vehicles.
Carnavon is 24 degrees South, almost into the tropics. It supplies 80% of WA’s produce, growing over 30 different fruits, vegetables and herbs alongside bananas, mangos, tomatoes and table grapes.

Good to see the caravan didn’t float away. Did you try a famous Carnarvon banana?

REPLYIt can be risky to drive through even seemingly shallow waters. This trip is shaping up as quite adventurous. Be careful and take your orders from Chops.
